How to Lock Photos App on iPhone
Using the Screen Time feature or the Shortcuts app, you may lock the Photos app on your iPhone. We’ve listed two methods for locking the iPhone Photos app below.

Use screen time to lock the Photos app on your iPhone.
In case you are unaware, Screen Time is a function that provides you with instantaneous reports on the amount of time you have dedicated to using your phone. You may manage what you want and set restrictions with the same feature.

You may set time limitations for any app on the iPhone with the Screen Time function. Thus, you can establish a time limit for using the Photos app by utilizing the same option.

1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone to get started.

2. Choose Screen Time when the Settings app opens.

3. Choose App & Website Activity under Screen Time.

4. Select Turn on App & Website Activity from the pop-up window.

5. Tap the Lock Screen Time Settings button on the following screen.

6. Next, make a password of four digits.

7. Next, select Add Limit from the App Limits menu. Your Screen Time password will need to be entered; provide it.

8. Expand the Creativity section and select the Photos app. Once selected, tap Next.

9. Now set the timer to 0 hours 1 min. Enable the Block at End of Limit, and tap Done at the top right corner.

This will set the Time limit for using the Photos app. After a minute, the Photos app will be locked behind the Screen Time password. Once the Photos app is locked, its icon will be grayed out, and you will see an hourglass next to the app name.

If you wish to unlock the Photos app, tap on the App and select Ask for More Time. Selecting the Ask for more time will require entering the Screen Time Passcode.
