Microsoft recently announced the next major update to its operating system: Windows 11 24H2. This update is already available for Windows Insiders.
If you’re eager to try out the new features and can’t wait for the official stable release, you can download and install Windows 11 24H2 right now. Here’s how:
Important Note:
Microsoft is currently rolling out the Windows 11 24H2 update only to Insiders in the Release Preview Channel. If you’re not already a Windows Insider, you’ll need to join the Windows Insider Program and switch to the Release Preview Channel to access the update.
How to Join the Windows Insider Program:
Joining the Windows Insider Program is simple. You’ll need an active Microsoft account and can follow these steps:
1. Click the Start button in Windows 11 and go to Settings.
2. In the Settings app, navigate to Windows Update.
3. On the right, select Windows Insider Program.
4. Click Get Started next to Join the Windows Insider Program.
5. Link your Microsoft account when prompted.
6. Choose the Release Preview Channel, then click Continue.
Downloading and Installing Windows 11 24H2
Once you’ve joined the Release Preview Channel, your PC will be ready to download the Windows 11 24H2 update. Follow these steps to install it:
1. Open Settings from the Start menu.
2. Go to Windows Update.
3. Click Check for Updates on the right.
4. When the Windows 11 24H2 update appears, click Download & Install.
5. Wait for the installation to complete, then restart your PC.

If you prefer a clean installation, you can download the ISO files for Windows 11 24H2 directly from Microsoft’s website. Here’s how:
