There are several reasons why you might need to find your WiFi password on your Android device. Perhaps you’ve forgotten it and need to reconnect a device, or maybe you want to share your WiFi credentials with a guest. Fortunately, viewing your saved WiFi password and network name (SSID) on Android is quite simple. Modern Android versions don’t even require third-party apps.

Viewing WiFi Passwords on Older Android Versions (Requires Root)
For devices running older Android versions (prior to Android 10), you’ll likely need a third-party app and root access. One such app is WiFi Password Viewer, available on the Google Play Store. Keep in mind that rooting your device can void your warranty and introduce security risks, so proceed with caution. WiFi Password Viewer will only display passwords for networks your device has previously connected to. If you’re comfortable with rooting your device, this app can be a helpful tool. Learn More
