An iOS 17-only feature called Sensitive information Warnings is meant to shield you from offensive or harassing information. This feature is fantastic and operates without the need for an external expansion.
When used, the function shields iPhone users from objectionable material, such as graphic material obtained through FaceTime, AirDrop, Messages, or any other app.

In the event that your child uses your iPhone and you don’t want them to see any sensitive information, you can prevent undesired nude pictures or videos from appearing on your device by turning on the Sensitive information Warning.
iPhone Sensitive Content Warning
If we choose Apple, the business states that its Sensitive Content Warnings function analyzes and blocks images and videos delivered to you that may contain nudity using on-device machine learning.
The recently released iOS version – iOS 17.2, takes this feature to the next level, and it now warns you of explicit stickers & contact posters as well. Basically, this feature, when turned on, will blur the photos & videos that may contain nudity.
This is an excellent addition to the iPhone since it helps us avoid sensitive content we may accidentally encounter.
How to Enable & Use Sensitive Content Warning on iPhone?
The Sensitive Content Warning is turned off by default on an iPhone. You need to turn it on manually and choose which apps & services you’d like to use it with. Here’s how to enable Sensitive Content Warning on iPhone.
1. To begin, launch your iPhone’s Settings app.
2. After the Settings app launches, select Privacy & Security by swiping down.
3. Select the Sensitive Content Warning by tapping on it on the Privacy & Security page.
4. Click the toggle next to Sensitive Content Warning on the Sensitive Content Warning page.
5. Next, scroll down to the section on App & Service Access. You can activate and deactivate the services and apps that are subject to the warnings here.
To activate the Sensitive Content Warning on your iPhone, follow these steps.
Note: If you have set up Screen Time & turned on the Communication Safety, the Sensitive Content Warning will be already enabled.
How to Use Sensitive Content Warning on iPhone?
Upon activating the Sensitive Content Warning on your iPhone, any images or videos that might depict nudity will be instantly blurred.
When this function is activated, pictures or videos that seem to show nudity will automatically become blurry and show a warning that says, “This may be sensitive.”
Tap the Show button to display the photo or video. Alternatively, you can block the sender of the sensitive item or use the Alert button to locate resources if you need assistance.
Sensitive Content Warning is now compatible with FaceTime Messages, AirDrop, Messages, and Contact Posters within the Phone app on the iPhone. Apple is also working on enabling third-party apps to have this feature. learn more
